Tebsin Distribution

Background

When the Covid-19 pandemic was declared in March 2020 global supply issues around key items of PPE caused significant pressures and concern across the health and social care sector and beyond.

Within Aberdeen, the PPE collective was developed; a group of local care providers who agreed to bulk buy PPE in bulk order to bring down costs.

Besides the purchasing of PPE there was a logistics requirement to distribute these products to support the local providers. This was supported by the local voluntary sector alongside private providers giving up their own time to ensure everyone had stock to meet growing demand.

With the rising cost of living and other contributing factors, including the ceasing of supplier PPE payments, re application of VAT and no access to volunteers to support the process of stock flow, the PPE Collective has moved to another phase of distributing PPE via Tebsin Distribution.

Our mission

To provide good quality PPE to the health and social care sector. Sustainably sourced products with a no frills approach to reduce waste looking after the environment.
